Coordination with Technical Ownership

You won't be writing PLC code or developing software yourself.

But you do need to understand technical concepts, challenge proposed solutions, and ensure that Engineering, Construction, and Automation partners are working towards the same goal.

You will act as the key interface between Engineering, Site Management, and external automation partners throughout international industrial projects.

This role is not about managing spreadsheets or chasing action items.

It is about ensuring that planning, installation, testing, and commissioning come together successfully.

You will review technical solutions, identify gaps early, coordinate stakeholders, and help ensure that projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and according to specification.

Well-executed projects, clear responsibilities, and plants that perform as intended.

• Coordinate external automation and programming contractors
• Plan and structure EIC (Electrical, Instrumentation & Control) activities throughout the project lifecycle
• Review electrical engineering documents, technical specifications, and planning deliverables from external partners
• Support the preparation and coordination of technical documentation required by automation suppliers
• Ensure that project requirements are clearly communicated and correctly implemented
• Monitor EIC and electrical installation activities during project execution
• Act as the technical interface between Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, and external automation partners
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and verify compliance with project requirements
• Identify technical risks, inconsistencies, and missing information before they become issues on site
• Support commissioning activities and project handover
• Ensure that planning, installation, and controls integration work together seamlessly

• Coordination meetings with Engineering, Site Management, and external partners
• Review of electrical engineering documents, drawings, and technical specifications
• Monitoring project progress within the EIC scope
• Managing technical clarifications and interface topics
• Supporting installation supervision and quality assurance activities
• Preparing and following up on FATs, inspections, acceptance procedures, and deliverables
• Supporting documentation, compliance records, and project close-out activities

• No PLC programming
• No software development
• No pure administrative coordination
• Technical review of engineering deliverables
• Supervision of electrical and EIC implementation
• FAT participation and technical verification
• Interface management across multiple disciplines
• Support of commissioning and project handover
• Direct influence on project success

• Technical background, ideally in:
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Automation Engineering
  • Mechatronics
• Ability to understand and challenge technical concepts
• Structured way of working, even when multiple stakeholders are involved
• Clear and confident communication, even in difficult situations
• Excellent English skills (minimum B2)

• Very good Spanish and/or German skills
• Experience in EIC / I&C / industrial plant engineering
• Experience coordinating external partners or multidisciplinary interfaces
• Experience with FATs, commissioning, or plant start-ups

• Pure theoretical knowledge without practical application
• Uncertainty when dealing with external partners and stakeholders

For this position, we offer a gross annual salary starting from €55,000 (full-time).

• Your technical background
• Your coordination experience
• The level of responsibility you take on
