
Process Engineer (m/f/d)

At Botres Global, you do.
We develop, build and operate industrial biogas and biomethane plants across Europe. As a Process Engineer, you help transform organic waste streams into renewable energy, biomethane, clean water and valuable fertilizer.
You won't just create calculations and drawings. You'll contribute to real projects, visit operational plants and help shape systems that make a measurable difference.
What you can expect
Your day-to-day work
- Develop process engineering concepts for industrial biogas and biomethane plants
- Prepare and maintain:
- Mass & Energy Balances
- Process Flow Diagrams (PFD)
- P&IDs
- Equipment Lists
- Technical Specifications
- Support plant design from concept phase through commissioning
- Work closely with colleagues from:
- Mechanical Design
- E&IC Engineering
- Project Management
- Procurement
- Participate in technical reviews and design discussions
- Support troubleshooting and optimization of existing plants
- Prepare technical documentation for suppliers and project execution
- Technical clarification with equipment suppliers
- Review of technical offers
- Participation in commissioning and site visits
- Support continuous improvement of process design standards
What you bring
Must-have
- Degree in Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering or a related field
- Strong understanding of:
- Mass & Energy Balances
- Process Design
- PFDs and P&IDs
- Ability to work independently and systematically
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent German & English skills
- Experience in biogas, biomethane, waste treatment or renewable energy projects
- Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or SMAP3D
- Additional language skills (Spanish, Polish)
- First experience with commissioning or industrial plant operations

Compensation
The gross annual salary for this position ranges between €50,000 and €67,000, depending on qualifications, experience and level of responsibility.
The final package will be agreed individually based on your professional background, technical expertise and overall fit for the role.
